Why I Created A Blog?

I created my blog to feature up and coming new authors who were releasing their books, post my poetry that I wanted to express, promote my own self published books and also touch on subjects to engage the readers. What I experienced in the seven years since my first blog post for Blessed & Curvy is that the titles have changed but the subjects are the same. These are words touching people in many ways. From writing about crime in the United States, being a caregiver and what we can do to make a change is still happening.  I write a blog to let the words flow until the pen stops is my mantra and as I am getting older and wiser I feel that it’s not going to happen any sooner instead there is more to write and more to say I am here! Writing a blog on various subjects I found that when I spoke on sexual assault, domestic violence and purging to start anew the engagement soared. Readers responded to what was being written. Fresh Start

Greetings, I took the month of December off for personal reasons. I was purging negativity from my life. I went through my closets and started getting rid of clothing that no longer fit, had worn out it's welcome. I was baking a lot and only wanted a slice but my co-workers enjoyed it. I felt that I was going through a writer's block and the words couldn't come out. It hit me like a brick it was December. It would be the time to reflect on my life and had I grown. It was the time of year where the grieving started again and it had been 12 years since she passed. I felt that the world was going to swallow me up and spit me out and I wasn't  ready! I haven't been going to church where I am able to normally go and get rejuvenated. The silly reason they changed the time , it was only supposed to be for the summer, and it went past that .
