Peace Be Still

As I slumber

Tossing and turning

My mind not at peace

Wondering what tomorrow will bring

Looking at life through a looking glass

Wondering if I will see it until the end

Walking on egg shells until I get the call

Praying all will be okay

The roulette wheel spins

Where will it stop

Will I be lucky or prepare for my destiny

Lord stop my mind from racing

Peace be still

Why I hate Cancer!!!!

Coming from a large family is a blessing, tons of gatherings, laughs, and sharing history I was going through pictures and seeing siblings, cousins, and friends who died from cancer I realized that there is a history that we share. All forms of cancer from bone, prostate, breast, to lung caner. I have had my own scares with biopsies for breast, uterus and tongue cancer. I still have a marker in my body for them to track the size of the lump in my breast that they said isn't cancerous. Looking at my friends and family go from being healthy, not a care in the world and then BOOM the results!
